The atelier system was the last design issued before the audio line was stopped. The system's distinctive characteristic is it's pedestal like stand. Cables connecting the systems elements are concealed behind hinged plates at the rear of the device and channeled through the  supporting column, from which they emerge consolidated within a flexible hosepipe.

Having no 'best side', the system could be placed  anywhere in a room. Although heroic, this singular and autonomous presentation of audio equipment seems to contradict the earlier impulse towards its integration with furniture systems.  The system instead appears isolated in its self-sufficiency - an '80s image of systems design, perhaps.
