Braun Programm poster
More info
Fold-out poster of products drawn from various segments of the 1980 Household programme. The elevated point of view and raked angle is indicative of shifting photographic standards, now beginning to contradict the strict vertical and horizontal principle of the containing grid. This awkward visual tension is, perhaps, a symptom of a more general crisis affecting the Braun programme at this time, as it sought to reconcile a commitment to modernist industrial design against the rather less principled demands of fashion.
