First presentation in print of the complete Braun programme. The somewhat arbitrary population of the two column grid with inert white space is a remnant of the previous graphic approach. Compare with these more controlled pages of the same year and also referring to the G 11 / G 12 combination. The catalogue gives an interesting example of uneven graphic approaches prior to the codification of standards though the HfG.
Coherence, in these early years, was also lacking at level of product form. Wagenfeld's Combi, Gugelot's G series, and Braun and Eichler's SK 1/2 expressed divergent approaches. Note also the inclusion on the cover of the indifferent blender, a hangover from the previous programme, finally revised by Mueller in 1957.
