Hans Gugelot’s working group at the HfG Ulm, Development Group 2, undertook work for a number of industrial clients, amongst them the Braun Company. The Gugelot Institute, was formed following the premature death of Hans Gugelot in 1965 as a continuation of HfG Development Group. The Institute maintained its relationship with Braun, and in the years 1972 and 1973 just prior to its closure produced for the company two lighter designs.
